The Warehouse Cleaning Associate is responsible for inspections and cleaning of all tents in inventory, preparing them for availability for customer orders and delivery schedules.

Essential functions

  • Cleans all tents and other equipment, such as flooring, carpeting, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Folds and unfolds tents for inspection and cleaning.
  • Utilizes cleaning materials to remove dirt, stains and leaves from tent vinyl and other equipment.
  • Loads and unloads automated vinyl washer.
  • Cleans vinyl, wood, plastics and other materials thoroughly with mops, brooms, and pressure washer.
  • Inspects returned tents and other equipment for damage and ensures they are processed and repaired in a timely manner. 
  • Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to customers.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.
Supervisory responsibilities

This position does not supervise staff.

Travel required

None.

Work Environment
  • Often works in a warehouse/indoor environment that does not have air conditioning.
  • May occasionally work outdoors, in weather conditions such as heat, cold, sun or rain.
  • Often wears safety attire when in the warehouse, such as vests, masks, gloves, etc. 
  • May work in close proximity to other people, such as when sharing or entering office space. 
  • May be exposed to loud or distracting sounds or noise levels.

Required education & experience
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED.
  • Must be able to lift approximately 20-40 lbs. consistently; up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Clean driver’s license is helpful but not necessary.
  • Must be available for work 7 days a week.
Preferred education & experience
  • Knowledge of rental industry and tents set up preferred.
  • Construction or other outdoor field work experience.
  • Three months of rental/warehouse/general cleaning experience is a plus.
  • Bi-lingual/ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Work authorization/security clearance requirements

New hires will be required to complete Section 1 of federal Form I-9 and must present acceptable documents authorized by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services proving identity and employment authorization.
