Reports to: Logistics and Inventory Asst. Manager
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Salary: $55K ($26.44/hour)

About the Role

The Logistics Analyst supports Distribution operations by overseeing the procedures and controls that maximize routing, delivery efficiency, and scheduling. This role ensures the on-time preparation and coordination of daily deliveries and pickups.

Responsibilities

  • Review, route, and assign all orders in the system.
  • Create efficient routes for crews for installs and tear-down, minimizing downtime.
  • Assign Crew Leaders and team members to each job.
  • Assign proper trucks to orders, dependent upon inventory on orders.
  • Communicate with clients to confirm orders and provide estimated arrival times.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to determine the necessary transportation equipment and potential install tools.
  • Communicate across departments to ensure awareness of any order and route updates.
  • Maintain and update the internal monthly calendar in Excel and share daily capacity across departments.

Education, Technical & Computer Skills

  • Experience with dispatching, delivery routing, and crew scheduling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Familiarity with rental or warehouse management software systems preferred.

Preferred Experience

  • Technical aptitude with strong computer and software skills.
  • Experience with Point of Rental software is a plus.
  • Working understanding of DOT regulations.

Work Environment

  • Primarily works in indoor office settings.
  • Occasionally works outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, sun, or rain), especially in the initial training phase of the position.
  • May be required to wear safety attire and equipment such as vests, masks, or gloves.
  • May work in close proximity to others or in shared office spaces.
  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Typical schedule exceeds 40 hours per week; additional or weekend hours may be required.
  • On-call availability may be needed for short-notice events.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift approximately 20–40 lbs. regularly and up to 70 lbs. occasionally.
  • Works in close proximity to others and may encounter moderate noise levels.
